Project Highlights

4-Panel Solar Array

Roof-mounted solar designed around the available trailer space.

Thermal Insulation

Reflective insulation and carefully sealed interior surfaces.

Integrated Power

A dedicated installation area for the trailer’s electrical equipment.

Climate Control

Interior cooling and thermal testing for hot-weather operation.

THE BUILD STORY

Built as One Complete System

The work started with the trailer shell and moved through insulation, ceiling and wall finishing, power-equipment placement, climate-control integration and the rooftop solar array. Each layer was built around the same goal: make the trailer more practical away from the grid and more comfortable under intense sun.

  • Four-panel rooftop solar installation
  • Reflective insulation throughout the trailer envelope
  • Wood ceiling and clean, sealed interior panel joints
  • Dedicated power-equipment mounting area
  • Mini-split climate control and infrared spot testing

Before & After

The original roof was prepared for a compact four-panel layout that keeps the system contained within the trailer footprint.

DOCUMENTED THERMAL TEST

175.9°F Outside. 70.4°F Inside.

Infrared spot readings photographed during testing show 175.9°F on the black exterior skin and 70.4°F at an interior ceiling panel—demonstrating the value of the insulation, sealed finish and climate-control system under intense heat.
